Artisans Cambodia
Artisans Cambodia launched a portal website - Able Not Disabled - showcasing the products of their member organizations. You can see the great variety of fairly-traded fashion accessories and home wares produced by disabled artisans. The NGOs and enterprises featured on the website are all members of the Artisans’ Association of Cambodia (AAC), an umbrella organization whose members support many disadvantaged producers nationwide.
The Home Page features sliding images of products and an overview grid with links to the underlying member organization's pages.
On the underlying pages, individual member organizations showcase their products. When clicking on the product images, larger pictures pop up in a lightbox view (darkening the background, so the focus is on the product). In the right sidebar are their contact details, a link to their own website and a Google Map of their shop location.
The website is sponsored by Accenture, the Canadian International Development Agency, and Voluntary Service Overseas.
